There are usually several components that need to be assembled. It will be necessary to connect the pump and tubing, and the base will need to be connected to the top portion. The directions should be read first to make sure it is put together properly. In general, it is fast and uncomplicated. Keep in mind, though, that each style might require a slight change. Do not hesitate to get someone to assist you to hold the wall fountain in the right spot while you make a tiny mark on the wall. To facilitate a straight line, use a level. Both the top and the base should be marked. Your wall fountain can be installed in one of two ways. You can insert the screws in the wall and slide them into the holes on the back of the wall fountain. On the other hand, brackets can be fixed to the wall. This last one is the more advisable method, especially if your fountain is large. Mark the spot on the wall where the brackets need to be attached. To put in the drywall anchors, first off make pilot holes into the wall. Carefully hammer the anchors into the wall. The brackets can then be mounted on the wall with a screwdriver or cordless drill. At this point, hoist your unit and hang it on the mounting brackets. Ensure that it is securely mounted and straight. If the position is correct, it’s time to add some water. Use sufficient water so that the pump is entirely covered. Plug the pump into the wall and see the water begin to circulate. The water should fill the basin to within one inch of the very top. The basin will overflow when the pump is off if it is too full, so be certain not to fill it completely.

Once the pump is off the water all settles at the bottom of the bowl, causing the water level to rise. Damage can be caused if the water is overly full and overflows down your wall.
